Directions:  From Cardigan take the A478 south and turn left at Pen y Bryn towards Cilgerran, following the signs for the wildlife Centre.  Directly in front of the large picture sign to the WLC turn right into Cwm Plysgog.  Coolawn Studio is next left over a bridge. Coolawn is on the corner of a public footpath.  Limited Parking in layby just beyond the front of the property.  Plenty of room to turn round.

Semi-abstracts in pastel, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media.  I am intoxicated with and have an ardent love for colour. I play with juxtaposition, and the sumptuous rhythm of colour. Based on observation and in response to the subject shapes and textures emerge.
Whether I am working with the rich immediate colour of pastel or slow enjoyable lazy water colour that often surprises or the creamy lively hues and texture that come from acrylics,  Painting takes me away from the mundane.  I hope that the work will do that for those who would like to spend a little time with it  too.
